The main part of this sum, 30.55 million lei, was allocated as the first tranche of 44 applications for “subsidies in advance” for leasing investment projects of agricultural producers, submitted in 2025. Another 640 thousand lei constituted the final tranches for three such projects launched in 2024. Applications for “subsidies in advance” were submitted to AIPA for projects of modernization of livestock farms, mainly in the beekeeping sector.
This one-week tranche of AIPA payments draws attention to the fact that this is the first week of April during which farmers were paid their current subsidies – not their arrears.
