“Parliament passed a law that requires the state, as a responsible market participant, to maintain strategic reserves of petroleum products. In a conversation with a Logos Press correspondent, some experts noted that the new law and the decision by the National Energy Regulatory Agency—taken to implement it—to impose a surcharge on the price of diesel fuel at the amount specified above have become one of the catalysts for the growth in consumer demand for it.
