ARDN is a system for collecting data on the activities of agricultural enterprises, in line with European Union practices. According to its initiators, it will facilitate the development of agricultural policy based on real data, as well as a more effective allocation of support measures for farmers.
During the session at the ministry, the stages of ARDN implementation in the Republic of Moldova were presented, along with Estonia’s experience in developing a similar system. Participants discussed the role of associations in the implementation process and the benefits this system could bring to Moldova’s agricultural sector.
Economic data collected through the RDDA will be anonymous and used exclusively for analyzing the agricultural sector to inform agricultural policy, the MAIA statement emphasizes.
