The new fees were scheduled to take effect on August 14, 2026, in accordance with the Medical Devices Act. However, during the system’s launch phase, technical issues arose with the payment mechanism via the government-run MPay service. As a result, the implementation of the fees has been temporarily postponed.
Meanwhile, the registration process itself continues as usual. Companies may submit documents, and the agency will accept and review them without charging the fee at this stage.
Once the technical issues are resolved and the MPay payment system is operational, the agency will separately notify businesses of the effective date and method for paying the registration fee.
