This was announced by Poland’s Deputy Minister of National Defense Cesarius Tomczyk, RMF24 reported.

According to Tomczyk, Warsaw seeks not only to buy weapons abroad, but also to transfer the production of components and maintenance of military equipment to Poland. This includes PAC-3 MSE missiles, which are modern interceptors for Patriot systems.

The Polish official noted that the U.S. is traditionally cautious about transferring such technologies, but after negotiations, the U.S. side agreed to consider cooperation with the Polish defense industry. The Polish military already has two Patriot batteries in service and is awaiting delivery of six more.

Now American enterprises produce about 700 PAC-3 MSE missiles annually, but Washington plans to increase production almost threefold – up to 2,000 units by 2030.

One of the reasons is the need to replenish the stockpiles of the US and allies. Some of the advanced missiles have already been transferred to Ukraine, and Patriot systems are actively purchased by NATO countries, including Poland.
