
According to the operator, the new aircraft will start operating flights from Chisinau on September 18. Its introduction will increase capacity and expand the flight schedule, providing passengers with more options for connections and destinations.
The expansion will affect routes to France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Cyprus and the Czech Republic. In particular, the number of flights to Paris, Berlin, Bologna, Venice, Brussels-Charleroi, Prague, Milan-Bergamo, Larnaca, Verona and Nice will increase.
According to the updated schedule, Wizz Air will operate up to 10 flights per week to Paris-Beauvais, and up to 9 flights per week to Berlin. To a number of cities including Bologna, Venice, Brussels-Charleroi, Prague and Milan-Bergamo, flights will become daily. Up to five flights a week are scheduled to Larnaca and Verona, and up to three flights a week to Nice.
The Chisinau airport administration notes that the expansion of Wizz Air’s presence confirms the airline’s interest in the Moldovan market and the development of the airport as a regional transportation hub.
According to airport administrator Serghei Spoiale, the increase in the number of flights will increase passenger mobility and improve accessibility to European destinations, as well as contribute to the development of tourism and business relations.
The airport emphasizes that it will continue cooperation with the carrier to expand the route network and improve the quality of passenger service.
