“Petrocub scored 39 points and is six points ahead of Tiraspol’s Sheriff, which moved into second place thanks to a 1-0 win over Zimbru from Chisinau on Sunday. The Chisinau team, with 31 points, dropped to third place. Last year’s champion, Orhei’s Milsami, is fourth with 18 points, which gives it the right to participate in the European Cup if it retains its place in the table.
The winner of the championship will represent Moldova in the European Champions League, starting from the first preliminary round. The second-placed team will represent the country in the Europa League, while the third and fourth-placed teams will play in the Conference League.
