These are 9,213 vacancies in bodies and institutions financed from the state budget, in the National Social Insurance Fund and the National Health Insurance Company, as well as 7,742 vacancies in local public administration throughout the country. They will not be available for recruitment.
It is noted that in 2026, the expenditures on labor remuneration in the budgetary sector will amount to about 32.8 billion lei, or 10 per cent more than those approved for 2025. The increase is due to the increase in the base value for calculating salaries from MDL 2,200 to MDL 2,400 and the increase in the minimum wage from MDL 5,500 to MDL 6,300.
According to the authorities, the measure is aimed at efficient management of public funds and control over personnel expenses, as the state is preparing a new wage policy for the next year.
