Turkey, Romania and Greece imported the largest shares (about 34%, 22% and 19%) of the total physical volume of Moldovan agricultural products of grain and oilseed group last month. Italy and Lebanon were also major importers of these products. A similar picture of the main directions of physical exports of this commodity from Moldova is observed for the whole past period of 2025.
According to the experts of the Association of Agrocereale Exporters, the ratio of volumes and value of products sent to the top 3 buying countries “is more or less balanced”. Thus, in terms of the value of exported goods, the share of Turkey is also almost 34%, Romania – just over 23%, Greece – 14.4%.
It is curious that in the list of importers of Moldovan products of the mentioned commodity categories there are countries importing small volumes of expensive goods. Thus, the share of Bulgaria in the physical volume of purchases of Moldovan products is small – 1.3%, but its value is 3.2% of the total amount of export supplies.
According to Agrocereale, Bulgaria imports mainly sunflower from Moldova.
