Chisinau city authorities report that the ban will apply to Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, on the section between Metropolitan G. Banulescu-Bodoni Street and A. Pushkin Street. Traffic will be suspended on August 27, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. and on August 28, 2026, from 12:05 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Additionally, on August 27, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, traffic will be suspended on Stefan cel Mare Boulevard on the section between Mihai Viteazul and Izmail Streets, including at intersections along that stretch.

These measures have been taken in connection with the organization and conduct of a military parade, as well as cultural and artistic events dedicated to the national holiday “Independence Day,” by the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova and IP OCMAN “Moldova-Concert.”

During these periods, public transportation—including trolleybuses and buses—will be rerouted to nearby streets.
