The document proposes reforming the existing road toll system, including replacing road tolls with a vehicle tax collected by first-level local government authorities, as well as the widespread adoption of vignettes.

The consultations are aimed at ensuring an open dialogue with representatives of civil society, professional organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders. The opinions, suggestions, and recommendations gathered during the discussions will help improve the public policy document and bring the national framework into line with European standards.

During the consultations, the document’s key provisions, the reform’s objectives, and its impact on beneficiaries will be presented. The participation of all stakeholders is essential to ensure that the reform of the road toll system is based on transparent dialogue and a clear assessment of the consequences for citizens, government agencies, and the transportation sector.
