As a reminder, the program was approved at the end of 2024 and, in addition to the grant component—which accounts for 25% of the funds provided—includes an income tax credit, which is applied at a rate of 50% of the 12% tax rate. This relief is provided only if certain conditions are met.
The resolution approving the program will be supplemented with a new chapter governing the monitoring of state aid.
According to the document, performance indicators will be assessed annually for three consecutive years for small and medium-sized enterprises and for five consecutive years for large enterprises, based on an evaluation grid. This grid will be established in accordance with the methodology for monitoring beneficiaries’ compliance with economic indicators.
If it is determined that a recipient no longer meets the conditions for receiving the tax relief or the established economic indicators, the tax relief will be terminated. And the amounts provided, including interest, will be recovered.
At the same time, as Logos Press previously reported, the program’s funding will double.
In addition to doubling the budget, the document proposes stricter procedures for notifying applicants in the event of incomplete or erroneous applications, a five-day deadline for submitting additional information, as well as the rejection of an application without review in the event of non-compliance with requirements or failure to submit documents by the established deadlines.
