These institutions include the Republican Center for Children’s Rehabilitation, the National Center for Prehospital Emergency Medical Care, and district hospitals in Edinet, Drochia, Falesti, and Ștefan Voda.
“A good hospital also requires management that knows how to organize a team, effectively use resources, and make decisions for the institution’s development,” the minister stated.
Meanwhile, changes are planned for psychiatric hospitals in Chisinau, Bălți, and Orhei as part of the mental health reform.
Medical colleges are in the process of being transferred to the “Nicolae Testemițanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
According to Gasnaș, the ministry is seeking people “with experience and a clear vision for the development of the institutions” they will lead.
The Minister encouraged interested parties to participate in the competitions, noting that detailed information on the participation conditions, required documents, and application procedures is available on the Ministry of Health’s website.
“We need people who want to make a difference where it’s needed,” concluded Alexandru Gasnaș.
It’s worth noting that, as of February 2023, district hospitals have been transferred from the jurisdiction of district councils to the Ministry of Health, which is now responsible for their management and the appointment of their directors.
