
Andrian Gavrilitsa
Before serving as Minister of Finance in Alexandru Munteanu’s cabinet, Andrian Gavriliță worked in the governments of Filat, Gaburici, and Recean.
In 2011, under Vlad Filat’s government, he headed the investment promotion team at the State Chancellery, and a few years later, he served as chief of staff to Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici. Since February 2025, he has served as an advisor on Dorin Recean’s team.
The new composition of Vasile Tofan’s cabinet has been published on the government’s website. The Prime Minister’s Office is headed by Сarolina Bogatiuc. She specializes in European affairs and strategic communications, and is also the executive director and co-founder of the “European Initiative” and the public association “Citizens for Europe.”
In addition, the Prime Minister’s team includes journalist Dumitru Ciorici, who currently serves as the government’s press secretary.
Prior to his appointment as advisor to the Prime Minister, Andrian Gavrilitță served as Minister of Finance since November 2025 in the government of Alexandru Munteanu, who announced his resignation in early July.
In Vasile Tofan’s cabinet, Victoria Belous, a PAS party MP and former chair of the parliamentary committee on economy, budget, and finance, has returned to the post of Minister of Finance.
As a reminder, Victoria Belous served as Minister of Finance from late July 2024 through October 2025.
