The parties intend to help companies gain access to financing programs for projects aimed at modernizing production, developing exports, and expanding business.

The agreements were reached during a meeting on July 24 between the leadership of the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and representatives of UMAEF, at which new mechanisms for supporting domestic companies implementing investment projects were discussed.

Financing Opportunities for Companies

According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the cooperation will focus on companies that need financing to modernize production facilities, expand operations, bring new products to market, and increase export potential.

Sergiu Harea, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presented the organization’s capabilities for engaging with the business community, noting that the CCI’s membership registry includes more than 1,080 enterprises from various sectors of the economy. According to him, the chamber’s network of regional branches ensures direct communication with enterprises across the country, including industrial companies interested in attracting investment, adopting modern technologies, and enhancing their competitiveness.

The first practical step in this collaboration will be holding an informational session for business representatives. At the session, companies will be able to learn about available financing programs and the conditions for receiving support.

Going forward, the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and UMAEF plan to organize joint events for companies implementing investment projects and exploring opportunities to expand their operations.

For Moldovan businesses, this cooperation could create an additional channel for accessing investment programs, particularly for companies focused on modernizing production and developing export markets.
