Moldovan military personnel will take part in the Bastille Day parade in Paris

Service members of the National Army of the Republic of Moldova’s Honor Guard Company will take part in a military parade to be held on July 14 in Paris to mark France’s national holiday—Bastille Day.

Moldovan military personnel will march alongside units of the French Armed Forces and representatives from other partner countries.

The ceremonial march will take place on the Champs-Élysées in the presence of French leaders and official guests.

The Moldovan contingent will be led by Major Vitalie Josan, and the national flag of the Republic of Moldova will be carried by Second Class Sergeant Sergiu Cheburchiu.

For the servicemen of the National Army, this will be their second time participating in a military parade dedicated to France’s National Day.
