
The survey starts today, June 8, and will run through July 12 on a representative sample of 400 households randomly selected across the country. Interviewers with tablets will be interested in the purpose and frequency of Internet use and even – “the population’s adaptation to new technological solutions, including artificial intelligence (AI)-based systems”.
The questionnaire includes questions about the availability of computers and mobile devices, the ways and frequency of connection to the Internet, the possession of basic and advanced digital skills, as well as the experience of shopping online or interacting with e-government, payment for services, business commerce.
What is important for participants to know
Participation in the pilot survey is strictly confidential. All information collected is used exclusively for the formation of generalized statistical indicators, is not subject to disclosure and is protected by national legislation.
The aim of the statistical analysis in the subsequent processing of the data obtained will be, according to the agency, “to identify any digital gaps in the socio-demographic profile by comparing indicators by area of residence (urban/rural), age groups and income categories, which will provide the necessary information support to justify inclusive public policies in the digital age”.
