
According to an executive press release, the government decision also approves the location of these works and the beginning of the procedure of expropriation of all private property.
“The expropriation corridor covers several administrative-territorial units in Suceava and Botosanj counties,” the quoted source said.
The total amount allocated for compensation is 185,251 Romanian lei (approximately 735,000 Moldovan lei) and will be provided from the state budget through the Ministry of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism.
“The implementation of the project is being handled by the National Electric Transport Company Transelectrica S.A., which will also manage the expropriation and compensation procedures in accordance with the law,” the Romanian government said.
