Memorial complex “Eternity” is being prepared for May 9 – Victory Day

Earlier, he informed residents that the capital authorities are “preparing the Memorial Complex “Eternity” for May 9 – Victory Day”. “Next week, on the eve of May 9, we will carry out a number of works,” Cheban noted. – The building on the grounds of the complex will be transformed into a permanent exhibition center.”

The mayor specified that “over the last two years, since the Memorial was transferred from the Ministry of Defense to the Chisinau City Hall, we have managed to carry out many restoration works, such as: cleaning and painting of monuments and memorial plates, connection and replacement of lighting, maintenance of green areas, installation of irrigation system and many other works.

“European Town” will be installed at the PVNS

Earlier, the representation of the European Union in Moldova spread information that in Chisinau “Europe Day will be celebrated on May 9 within the framework of the already traditional “European Town” on the Great National Assembly Square.

“It will bring together 22 EU member states, 35 EU-funded projects, as well as Moldovan state institutions,” the press release said. – The day program will include activities for all ages, from thematic games and contests for children to interactive events for the general public. In the evening of May 9, the audience will enjoy a concert with Gabriela Nebunu, Minelli from Romania, Alternosfera and other famous Moldovan artists,” the press release said.
