Avesterra Group shipped its first commercial consignment to the UK on 31 July under the Delika brand. Following a trial shipment, the British partner has contracted further consignments of meat. This was reported by latifundist, citing the company’s press office.

Prior to entering European markets, the company’s production facilities were certified for the export of products to the EU. Before commencing deliveries to the UK, the company also underwent an audit to ensure compliance with national veterinary and sanitary requirements. Following this, the company was included on the list of producers authorised to export products to the UK market.

To date, Avesterra Group has experience of exporting products to 25 countries worldwide. By the end of 2027, Avesterra Group plans to increase the share of exports to 20 per cent of its monthly production volume. However, Ukraine will remain the company’s main sales market.

“For us, it is not just a matter of making the first deliveries, but of building long-term cooperation with international partners and ensuring a regular presence of our products in new markets. “The extension of the contract with our British partner following the first shipment confirms the competitiveness of Ukrainian products and opens up opportunities for us to further expand our exports,” said Svetlana Sobipan, CEO of Avesterra Group.

According to Logos Press, prior to the introduction this spring of a temporary ban by the ANSA agency on supplies of Ukrainian chicken to the Moldovan market, the management of Ukraine’s largest agricultural holding, OJSC ‘Mironovsky Khleboprodukt’ (MHP), had been seriously considering plans to build a poultry farm in Moldova. Following the lifting of the ban, the company resumed supplies of poultry meat and semi-finished products to Moldova. However, the organisation’s plans to set up production of these products in the country are no longer relevant.
