The Romanian Association for Advanced Strategic Research, Nanotechnology and Quantum Technologies (ARCSANTQ) has registered the e-ARO 25 project with OSIM as early as December 2025, according to Newsweek.
And at the Black Sea Defense Aerospace exhibition held in Bucharest, it presented the first renderings and technical specifications.
The e-ARO 25 is 4,550 mm long, which is about the same length as the Dacia Bigster (4,570 mm). The car will be all-electric, but as an option, customers will be able to opt for a “plug & play” range-extending device (REX), that is, a 1.5-liter internal combustion gasoline engine that acts as an electric generator that can be installed and removed. In this way, the car will become a hybrid, providing complete freedom of movement, with a total range estimated at 800 to 1,000 kilometers.
The e-ARO 25 will have a power output of more than 300 horsepower and a huge torque of 14,000 Nm.
The car will be launched on the market at a price of around 100,000 euros.
