At this stage of the procedure, open bids for several relevant lots are undergoing evaluation; their total estimated value is 171,000 lei, including VAT.
The primary criterion for selecting suppliers to cater official visits and meetings is the lowest price offered.
At the same time, according to the agency’s approved public procurement plan for the current year, the total budget for protocol dinners and receptions for foreign guests is set at 666,600 lei.
It is worth noting that the Parliamentary Secretariat regularly procures catering and protocol services for delegations. According to the agency’s reports on the monitoring of annual contracts, a number of domestic companies previously provided similar services.
Last year, contracts for servicing official visits were most frequently awarded to VsiPas și Co, Degusto Tour, CBT Cricova Vin, and Divus Restaurant. In addition to the leading contractors, companies and establishments such as The Place, Mileștii Mici, Sovilerus, Leutis, Hariton Limited, Chateau Group, Paldum Prim, Brănești, Gogu Ilie, and Nanuna were also involved in providing parliamentary protocol and reception services.
