On the streets of London, billboards lure tourists to Georgia

A large-scale marketing campaign to attract English tourists to Georgia is organized by the National Tourism Administration and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of the country.

This reports Georgia Online. As part of the campaign, billboards dedicated to Georgia’s tourist destination were placed on the central streets and main squares of London.

According to the National Tourism Administration, a total of 46 outdoor advertising banners have been installed, including both digital and static advertising.

“The aim of the campaign is to promote Georgia as a tourist diverse and competitive destination in the British market. During the year, more than 17 million people in London will see image videos and photo collages about Georgia,” the National Tourism Administration said in a statement.

It also noted that the UK is an important tourist market for Georgia. In the first quarter of 2026, the number of visits from the United Kingdom to Georgia increased by 45.7% compared to the same period of 2025.
