In the global ranking, the Republic of Moldova is positioned behind Georgia, which ranks 44th with access to 121 countries, and ahead of Venezuela, which ranks 46th with access to 117 countries.
Meanwhile, Romania ranks 11th in the global ranking with access to 178 countries, Ukraine ranks 33rd with access to 142 countries, and the Russian Federation ranks 47th with access to 114 countries.
Singapore tops the ranking with access to 192 countries. Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates share second place with access to 188 countries. Sweden ranks third with access to 187 countries.
In fourth place are Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, and Spain, which have visa-free access to 186 countries.
The Henley Passport Index analyzes 199 passports and 227 destinations, ranking them based on the number of countries to which passport holders can travel visa-free before departure.
