Over the course of three days, small, medium, and large producers from various regions of the country will gather in one place, and visitors will have the opportunity to discover local products and purchase them directly from the producers.
This year’s program features two new additions to the exhibition: the National Plăcintă Festival and the “Top Wineries 2026” gala concert, as well as tastings, activities at the booths, and performances by local artists.
Day One: Official Opening, Moldova’s Largest Woven Rug, and Pasha Parfeni
On Friday, August 28, the program will begin with concerts by the Ialoveni District Council Brass Band, conducted by Maestro Grigori Vyrlan, and the Porumbița District Folk Music Orchestra.
The official opening ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m.
One of the highlights of the first day will be the presentation of the national record for “The Largest Woven Rug in the Republic of Moldova,” produced by Covoare Ungheni.
The day’s program also includes a concert by PASHA Parfeni, and in the afternoon, visitors will continue to explore the exhibition and meet with manufacturers, distributors, and potential business partners.
Saturday: National Record for “The Largest Cherry Plăcintă,” National Plăcintă Festival, and “Best Wineries of 2026” Gala Concert
On August 29, all eyes will be on one of the festival’s most spectacular moments: the setting of the national record for “The Largest Cherry Placinta in Moldova.”
The process will begin in the morning, and the public will be able to watch the pie being assembled, as well as the official ceremony to measure and certify the record.
On the same day, the National Plăcintă Festival will take place, featuring cooking demonstrations and tastings, as well as the “Best Wineries of 2026” gala concert.
The atmosphere will be enhanced by the Hora Mare folk dance ensemble from Chișinău, the Andrieș folk music orchestra, and solo concerts by Igor Cuciuc, Corina Țepeș, and Costi Burlacu.
