Maya Sandu and Nikushor Dan arrived together in Yerevan to participate in the ENP Summit

European leaders are arriving in Yerevan to participate in the 8th European Political Community (EPC) summit to be held on Monday, May 4. Moldovan President Maia Sandu arrived together with Romanian President Nicusor Dan - they arrived on one special flight.

As correspondent reports Armenpress The two presidents were met by Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan at Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport.

Judging by the photos circulating on the Internet, Maya Sandu is accompanied by former Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and current Special Envoy for European Affairs and Strategic Partnership Nicu Popescu.

The European Policy Community brings together the leaders of some 50 European countries – on equal terms, in a spirit of unity and common goals. It provides a political platform to promote political dialogue and cooperation on issues of common interest to strengthen the security, stability and prosperity of the European continent.

The European Political Community Summit provides a platform for European leaders to exchange experiences and enhance cooperation. It does not replace any existing organizations, structures or processes.

Within the framework of the summit, Moldovan President Maia Sandu and French President Emmanuel Macron will hold a special session at the summit. a special session dedicated to countering hybrid threats and strengthening democratic sustainability.
