This confirms the forecast published by Logos Press on Monday.
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has published new maximum prices for gasoline and diesel fuel, which will take effect on August 6.
The maximum price for AI-95 gasoline will be 30 lei and 48 bani (19 bani cheaper than today) per liter, and for diesel fuel—32.66 lei (16 bani cheaper) per liter.
The decline in fuel prices is due to a sharp drop in prices on global markets following the emerging agreement between the U.S. and Iran.
