The relevant draft law was approved by the Moldovan Parliament last week. The new provisions, in accordance with European regulations, establish strict technical requirements for ship design, stability, on-board equipment, fire protection and rescue systems.
The law will come into force 18 months after its official publication, giving all air operators flying to and from Chisinau the opportunity to prepare their aircraft for the new requirements.
