
According to IGM, the assessment is being conducted with the support of the “Support for EU Integration” project, implemented by GIZ Moldova and funded by the German government. The mission will be in Moldova from July 13 to 15, 2026.
During the visit, expert Eleodor Pirvu will meet with representatives of the General Inspectorate for Migration and analyze the organization of activities, operational procedures, and the system’s capacity to meet the needs of persons seeking international protection in the Republic of Moldova.
In conclusion, recommendations will be formulated to help develop and strengthen the refugee reception system so that it meets the needs of beneficiaries as effectively as possible and aligns with best European practices.
