According to the Forbes real-time ranking published on the X platform, following Elon Musk on the list of the world’s richest people are Google co-founders Larry Page, with a net worth of $286.5 billion, and Sergey Brin — $264.3 billion, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos — $243.8 billion, and Dell Technologies CEO Michael Dell — $233.7 billion.
The combined net worth of the world’s top ten billionaires exceeds $3 trillion. Most of the spots on the list are held by representatives of the technology sector: eight of the ten largest fortunes are tied to companies in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and electric vehicles.
The growth in the fortunes of the wealthiest entrepreneurs is primarily linked to the performance of their companies and investor interest in artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and new energy technologies.
The only members of the top ten not directly linked to the technology sector are Bernard Arnault, head of LYMH—the world’s largest luxury goods company—and investor Warren Buffett, whose fortune Forbes estimates at $144.9 billion.
At the same time, the rankings of the largest fortunes remain subject to daily fluctuations due to changes in stock prices. Even small movements in the stock prices of Tesla and other companies can significantly affect the valuation of billionaires’ wealth.
