Of the total volume, 75.26% came from imports, while 24.74% came from domestic producers. Of the imported energy, 57.33% was purchased under bilateral contracts with suppliers and producers from Romania and Ukraine, and 17.93% was purchased on the “day-ahead” market (PZU) via OPCOM and the Romanian Commodity Exchange (BRM).

These procurement costs do not include taxes or expenses related to transportation, capacity reservation, and other logistical costs.

The company notes that under the new market conditions, Energocom purchases little energy generated during the day, and is focusing on purchasing energy during peak hours from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., which affects the weighted average purchase price of energy.
