According to the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA), official laboratory tests revealed that this batch of spices contained residual amounts of the pesticide chlorpyrifos at concentrations exceeding the maximum permissible level.

“This recall applies exclusively to products with the expiration date listed above. Other batches of this product with different expiration dates, as well as other products under the NGR brand, are not subject to this recall,” the ANSA statement reads.

The agency urges consumers who have purchased this product not to use it and to return it to the seller.
