In some areas, police officers requested lists of participants and called farmers to advise them to stay home. “In Chisinau, without any legal grounds, the association’s chairman was summoned to the police headquarters. “We deeply regret that, in the midst of the European integration process, the police are resorting to repressive methods to restrict the constitutional right to protest,” reads a statement from “Forța Fermierilor” on this matter.
