The ministry announced this in a video detailing the transformation of the Defense Forces.

In addition, Ukraine will introduce three new types of contracts for military personnel: an infantry-assault contract for 10 or 14 months, a combat contract for 24 months, and a basic contract also for 24 months.

Upon completion of their contract, service members will be guaranteed a deferment from mobilization, which may exceed six months. Current contract soldiers will be able to renew their agreements under the new terms, with credit for time already served.

Separately, for assault troops and infantry, a mission control system will be implemented, which will allow for confirming their presence at their posts, guaranteeing proper payments, and speeding up the search for the wounded.
