This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Eugeniu Osmokescu at a meeting of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova on 30 April. The meeting reviewed the results of the Chamber’s activity in the first four months of 2026 and set priorities for the next period.
In his speech, the deputy prime minister stressed that the authorities constantly make efforts to create a more favorable environment for the development of the private sector, including through enterprise support programs, state aid instruments, financing mechanisms and measures aimed at boosting the competitiveness of domestic companies. At the same time, he emphasized the importance to continue the cooperation between the government, the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the business community, in order to identify practical solutions to the problems faced by the entrepreneurs.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sergiu Harea, presented a report on the organization’s activity for the January-April 2026 period, highlighting the main measures taken to support the business environment, promote the interests of local producers and consolidate the dialogue between the public and private sectors.
The report reflects the Chamber’s activity in several strategic directions, including the promotion of legislative initiatives in support of local producers, optimization of dialogue with public institutions, development of exhibition activities, organization of competitions, training of human resources for the economic sector, trade promotion, internationalization of business and increasing the competitiveness of producers through innovation and links with the scientific environment.
