A relevant EU-funded technical assistance project was launched as part of the adaptation of the internal market to European requirements, including public administration issues. The Expertise France mission met on 12-14 January with representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization and the State Property Agency and discussed the envisaged measures in the field of state-owned enterprises and public property management.
The project aims at integrating Moldovan state-owned enterprises into European value chains, modernizing public administration and increasing transparency, especially within the “Internal Market” cluster of the National Accession Program. Moldova will thus intensify its European integration efforts with a focus on reforms in the internal market, competitiveness and digitalization.
Expertise France (part of the AFD Group) is also involved in a number of other projects in Moldova aimed at harmonizing national legislation, green transition, modernizing public procurement, developing entrepreneurship and the management capacity of the authorities.
