From February 16 to 18, 2026, the National Agency for Research and Development will host a Horizon Europe project proposal preparation workshop for Moldovan researchers and developers.
Participants will receive practical assistance in the preparation of applications: they will be helped to choose a relevant topic, find partners, allocate roles and plan the budget, which significantly increases the chances of successful receipt of grants.
The program is open to both experienced scientists and young researchers, including PhD students, as well as representatives of the innovation sector. It aims to develop Moldova’s scientific potential and strengthen links with European research networks.
Horizon Europe is the EU’s largest science funding program. It supports cutting-edge science, innovation, climate change, economic growth, job creation and the strengthening of the European research area.
The Horizon Europe office in Moldova has been operating since 2023 and has been funded by the EU since the fall of 2025.
