According to data from the Ministry of Education and Research, as of August 14, 18,259 students had been admitted to bachelor’s degree programs, integrated programs, and master’s degree programs at universities across the country.
Of these, 6,444 students received spots funded by the state budget. Thus, following the main admission phase, approximately 80% of all state-funded spots have been filled.
The most popular fields of study were economics—4,323 enrolled students—law—2,565, education—1,696, information and communication technologies—1,636, and engineering—1,433.
Minister of Education and Research Dan Perciun noted that for the second year in a row, the number of young people choosing to study at Moldovan universities is growing. According to him, this trend is driven by investments in university infrastructure, dormitories, and laboratories; the launch of new educational programs; and their greater alignment with labor market demands.
For those who have not yet been admitted or wish to apply for a different major, an additional admission round will open on August 15. Until August 24, applicants will be able to apply for remaining state-funded spots, including in the fields of education, engineering, agriculture, natural sciences, architecture and construction, as well as in the security sector.
You can submit documents online through the eAdmitere platform until August 17. After the documents are reviewed and placements are confirmed, the final results will be published on August 24.
