The State Tax Inspectorate suspects that a number of companies engaged in the production and sale of construction materials and the provision of construction services may have carried out economic activities that were not fully reflected in their financial statements. This includes underreporting income received from the sale of manufactured products.

Furthermore, these entities are suspected of including distorted data on income and expenses in their accounting and tax records, as well as of concealing taxable items in violation of tax laws.

Accordingly, on August 11, 2026, searches were conducted at the offices, residences, and vehicles of decision-makers at several entities in the Chisinau municipality and the Rezina district.

During the searches, accounting documents, papers, and other relevant materials were discovered and seized; these will be subjected to expert examination to confirm the circumstances and facts of the investigation. The seized materials will undergo appropriate review and analysis as part of the legal process.

The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the case.
