The total cost of the project exceeded 1 million lei. Of this amount, more than 951,000 lei was provided by CNAM. The remaining funds were allocated by the Telenesti District Council, the district hospital, the district dental center, and the Health Center itself.
The investment was directed toward installing a modern elevator, which is intended to improve patients’ access to medical services—particularly for people with limited mobility—and to facilitate the work of medical staff.
CNAM Director General Ion Dodon noted at the opening ceremony: “This project demonstrates the importance of cooperation between government agencies and medical institutions in implementing investments that directly meet the needs of citizens and contribute to improving the quality of medical services.”
The Telenesti Health Center provides primary health care to more than 58,000 residents of the city and surrounding area, as well as to patients at several autonomous health centers within its service area.
