The portal is an interactive budget data system. Real-time access to data is provided not only for aggregate figures but also for information on budget execution by government bodies at all levels—from the presidential administration, parliament, and government to ministries, agencies, district councils, and city administrations.
The platform will be developed gradually, in part based on user feedback. In its statement, the Ministry of Finance calls on “citizens, representatives of civil society, journalists, experts, and all interested parties to explore the portal and submit their recommendations via the available feedback module.”
“The launch of the new budget execution portal represents an important step toward strengthening budget transparency and open governance, contributing to the modernization of public administration and the fulfillment of the commitments undertaken by the Republic of Moldova in the process of European integration,” the ministry’s website states.
