It is a comprehensive project aimed at stimulating entrepreneurial spirit among young people and creating a sustainable business ecosystem.

Business supported the initiative financially

This year, for the first time, it has attracted co-financing from private sector partners, ISD and Backstage IT. This is a testament to the strengthened collaboration between business and startup support initiatives.

“Every business starts with an idea, but it takes courage and support to develop it, especially at the initial stage,” said Adrian Lupuszor, CEO of Expert-Grup.

Unfortunately, ideas often don’t materialize, so we offer assistance that includes not only a grant, but also technical assistance, mentoring and training.” He emphasized the importance of private sector involvement, expressing hope that this trend will continue to be supported by business.

Year after year, interest in the program has grown. This year, 70 applications were submitted, from which 35 participants were selected. A program of five modules combining business training and entrepreneurial skills has been prepared for them.

Grants for 5000 euros and mentoring

Young people will develop business plans to present at the competition. Ten participants will be selected for the final presentation of their business ideas, and the five winners will receive grants worth 5000 euros and individual mentoring for six months.

“For the third year in a row, the Academy of Economics is a partner and a link between business and education in this endeavor,” notes ASEM Rector Alexandru Stratan. – We value our participation in training the new generation of entrepreneurs. In the hubs of the Academy training takes place, we provide organizational and logistical assistance in organizing competitions and seminars. And their participants will later develop the country, opening new businesses and jobs”.

The project is implemented by the Independent Analytical Center Expert-Grup with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chisinau, as well as the Agency for Entrepreneurship of this country. It is open to young people under 35 years of age.
