The National Energy Regulatory Agency (NERA) has set new maximum fuel prices that will be in effect tomorrow, May 14.
Gasoline will rise by 16 bani and will cost 30.78 lei per liter, while diesel fuel will drop by 3 bani to 29.51 lei per liter.
The increase in gasoline prices, according to ANRE calculations, is due to the increase in Platts quotations. On April 29, they stood at 18,199.59 lei per ton, and by May 13, they rose to 19,609.12 lei per ton.
At the same time, the Platts quotations fell for diesel fuel from 21,344.84 lei/ton on April 29 to 20,812.73 lei/ton on May 13.
