The funds envisaged in the State Budget Law will be used to implement 30 local and regional development projects on both banks of the Dniester. Among the priorities are modernization of social institutions, strengthening energy efficiency and increasing trust among the population.
An important component of the program is the allocation of 3 million lei to the Dubasari district council. This amount is meant to partially compensate the expenses of farmers who own agricultural land located behind the Ribnita-Tiraspol highway and have to pay fees when crossing checkpoints.
Also among the most important objects included in the program are the allocation of 3.5 million lei for the purchase of two transport units for pupils and 1 million lei for the repair of the roof of the Theoretical Lyceum named after Lucian Blaga in Tiraspol. Also, 1.5 million lei will be allocated to equip the Health Centre in Rezina with a modern digital radiographic apparatus, and 1 million lei each will be used to repair the water supply system of the first separate infantry battalion of the Peacekeeping Forces in Cocieri and to install centralized heating in the residential block of the penitentiary institution No 8 in Bender.
The program also includes other projects aimed at bringing the two banks of the Dniester closer together.
The beneficiaries will be obliged to complete all the works and use the allocated funds by the end of the fourth quarter of 2026. By January 15, 2027, they will have to submit annual reports on the use of the money to the Bureau of Reintegration Policies.
