At today’s meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Energy and the National Center for Sustainable Energy (CNED) and representatives of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad), the main areas of future grant assistance to be provided to the Republic of Moldova by the Kingdom of Norway were discussed.At today’s meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Energy and the National Center for Sustainable Energy (CNED) and representatives of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad), the main areas of future grant assistance to be provided to the Republic of Moldova by the Kingdom of Norway were discussed.
On Wednesday, the Romanian government announced that it would begin shutting down its only nuclear power plant on Thursday after water levels in the Danube fell to a record low this week and attempts to prevent a complete shutdown failed.
