
The exhibition is attended by about 160 countries, including the Republic of Moldova. In the budget of 2024, 5.9 million lei were envisaged for the preparation of the Moldovan pavilion, and the organizers from Japan provided 80 m2 of exhibition space for this purpose free of charge. The Moldexpo International Exhibition Center is responsible for the preparation of our country’s exposition.
The motto of the Osaka World Expo is “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”. The organizers hope to surprise visitors with flying cars, achievements of artificial intelligence and much more. “Expo 2025” will last until October 13, 2025, and all these six months participating countries will demonstrate their technological and other achievements. An artificial island called Yumeshima has even been specially created for the Expo, about ten kilometers from the center of Osaka city.
About 28 million people are expected to visit Expo 2025 in Osaka.
The National Day of the Republic of Moldova is scheduled for August 31.
