The presentation highlighted the reforms that have been implemented. A number of provisions, such as European regulations concerning electronic communications, “roam like at home,” gigabit infrastructure, the open internet, and radio spectrum policy and management, have been fully implemented into national legislation.

Another important achievement highlighted at the meeting is the practical implementation of the new regulatory framework for roaming between the Republic of Moldova and European Union member states (“Roaming Like at Home”), which is a significant step toward the country’s integration into the European economic area.

The data presented confirm the Republic of Moldova’s progress in harmonizing sectoral legislation and regulations with European Union law and contribute to achieving the goal of integration into the Single European Digital Space, stated the head of ARCOM.
