As Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea emphasized when presenting the project during the government meeting, this initiative will contribute to increasing passenger traffic between the two states. This is an additional factor to stimulate tourism, develop trade exchange and strengthen bilateral economic ties.
The agreement will establish a legal framework for air flights between the two states, including rules on their safety and security, the determination of the applied tariffs, the appointment of air carriers and the conditions for performing flights.
He also emphasized that “for the citizens, the conclusion of the agreement between Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina means more direct flights from Chisinau, for the economy – increased passenger traffic, development of tourism, trade opportunities and a more competitive aviation market”.
At the same time, the agreement will contribute to strengthening bilateral relations and improving the investment climate. The implementation of the document does not imply budget expenditures and does not require institutional changes
