A number of literary and promotional events were also organized as part of the exhibition, the Ministry of Culture said in a news release.

The editions presented in Leipzig were published by the German publishing houses Edition Noack & Block and KLAK Verlag within the Program of Translation and Editing of National Books Abroad (edition 2025), financed from the Moldovan state budget. This newly established program aims to support the translation, publication and promotion of national authors on international publishing markets.

The Office also reported that Moldova intends to join the TRADUKI network to increase opportunities for translation, mobility and international literary cooperation. This approach is part of the strategic efforts to integrate into the European cultural space and reflects an unwavering commitment to promoting cultural values, supporting linguistic diversity and stimulating intercultural dialog at the regional and European levels, the ministry said.
