“We come with progress in Moldova’s accession process, opening new investment prospects, dialoguing with young mayors, honoring the country’s traditions and uniting Moldova through dialogue with the opposition and critical voices,” Marta Coscia was quoted as saying by the EU Delegation in Chisinau.
On Thursday, June 4, Marta Kos will open the EU-Moldova Investment Conference dedicated to economic opportunities and the European Union Growth Plan for Moldova – a tool for mobilizing investments, supporting the economy and modernizing the country.
On Friday, June 5, the commissioner will participate in the opening of the Moldova Digital Summit 2026, dedicated to digital transformation and Moldova’s integration into the European technological space.
The commissioner will also hold discussions with mayors from different regions of the country.
The commissioner will conclude his visit on Sunday with trips outside Chisinau, including to the Marta and Maria Monastery and to a farm in the village of Slobozia-Dusca, where he will discuss traditions, rural development and Moldova’s European path with representatives of local communities.
